Sara Dorworth joined the law firm in 2016 as an intern during her second year of law school. She was hired in March 2017 as a law clerk to assist Attorney Will Hannosh with his case work prior to her maternity leave. She returned in March 2018 and became the legal assistant to Attorney Milena Celentano as she awaits her bar exam results.
Sara has been actively pursuing her career goals since the age of 8 years old when she first decided she wanted to be an attorney. She graduated from San Diego State University in only three years with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in sign language. After, Sara attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law and graduated with her J.D. in December 2017. When she first began law school, she wanted to practice contracts or corporate law. However, she quickly fell in love with family law after beginning her internship at our law firm. Sara is a caring and compassionate person who understands the stress and struggles of going through family court. While attending law school, Sara received the honor roll for 4 out of 6 semesters. She has received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, the Witkin Award in Academic Excellence for Federal Income Taxation as well as the Jefferson Medal Award for the High Grade in Family Law Litigation. She was also part of the Family Law Society and participated in a domestic violence seminar which focused on the causes of domestic violence and how to better protect those who experience it.
Outside of the office, Sara is a loving mother to her newly born son and a caring wife to her husband. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys frequent trips to Disneyland. She likes to stay active spending her free time reading and experiencing new things with her son everywhere they go including the Zoo, Sea World, and Disneyland
