Dr. Tina Mayes has been a family law paralegal for over 28 years and has worked for the firm for the past 23 years. Tina has an A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Cuyamaca College (graduated with honors), a B.A. from San Diego State University (graduated Cum Laude and with distinction in Psychology), a M.A. in Psychology from Alliant International University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. While Tina spends most of her time as a clinical psychologist working with Veterans with mental health issues at the VA San Diego Healthcare System, she continues to be a pivotal member of our team. In addition to being a senior paralegal, Tina is also the firm's administrator and provides guidance and consultation for cases involving complex psychological issues. Tina is committed to providing the best service possible to the firm's clients and has an in-depth understanding of the emotional and mental health issues that can impact people going through a family law case. She provides supervision to the other paralegals in the firm, manages personnel and the firm, and oversees the billing department.
Tina was a single parent while she completed college and enjoys spending time with her significant other, son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, family and friends. In her spare time, Tina enjoys traveling, old movies and is an equestrian enthusiast.
