What sets Milena apart is her genuine passion for family law and mediation. Born and raised in New York, Milena came to law school with an eye on pursuing a career in family law and an earnest desire to help those facing their most difficult times find their way out of the dark and back into the light.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science from New York University, Milena earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she graduated at the top of her class. While attending law school, Milena actively participated in extracurricular organizations, which taught her how to handle multiple tasks and produce quality work product under demanding time constraints. Milena honed her advocacy skills through hands-on client work with local law firms and her participation in several national trial competitions as a lead competitor for her school’s trial team. Milena’s role as a Notes Editor for the Thomas Jefferson Law Review further refined her research, writing and analytical abilities.
In addition to these experiences, Milena served as the President of the Student Bar Association, acting as the liaison between the entire student body, student organizations, administration, staff and faculty. In recognition of her efforts, Milena was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Evidence, was named a Jefferson Scholar, and was the recipient of the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges Award.
As an attorney, Milena has continued to hone her litigation and trial skills, helping clients who face a wide-array of issues in cases ranging from family law, to general civil litigation matters, to trust and estate litigation. Before joining Klueck & Hoppes, Milena was an attorney for a well-respected family law firm where she handled all aspects of family law matters, from intake to trial.
