Cheryl is a proud San Diego County native who graduated with honors from California Western School of Law in 1989, completing her degree in an impressive two-year timeframe. This early academic achievement laid the foundation for a distinguished legal career. After earning her degree, Cheryl began her career as a prosecutor with the City of San Diego, where she served from 1989 to 1991. During her time as a prosecutor, she gained invaluable courtroom experience and developed a deep understanding of the legal system, particularly in how it affects individuals and families.

In 1991, Cheryl took the next step in her career by establishing her own law firm, where she provided legal services across a range of practice areas. For nearly two decades, Cheryl successfully operated her firm, building a strong reputation for professionalism, integrity, and a client-focused approach. Her legal expertise and dedication to her clients allowed her to form lasting relationships and provide effective counsel in numerous matters.

In 2011, Cheryl made the thoughtful decision to step back from her practice to focus on caring for her family. During this time, she remained actively engaged with the legal community, staying informed on developments in the law and continuing to nurture her passion for helping others. In 2024, Cheryl returned to the legal field, joining Family Law San Diego, APC. With her extensive experience and renewed dedication, she now focuses on her true passion—family law—where she uses her knowledge and expertise to help individuals and families navigate complex legal challenges.

Cheryl’s return to practice brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and professionalism, and she is excited to continue making a positive impact on the lives of her clients.
