Matthew Withers

Matthew is a life-long San Diego native who has experience as a paralegal over a span of more than 15 years in a variety of legal fields, with a specialization in Family Law. Matthew began his legal career working for his father who was a successful attorney in San Diego for over 25 years, and working with him gained experience in criminal matters, civil litigation, family law, bankruptcy, probate, securities, wills and trusts, along with several other types of law. After his father’s retirement, he worked for a variety of firms in the local area. After a severe injury from a car accident in 2015, Matthew found a change working in the non-profit sector, serving as the Office Manager for an organization specializing in physical therapy focusing on the recovery and treatment of people who had suffered strokes, other neurological conditions, and progressive diseases. After working with that organization for over six years, he then returned to the legal field, where he has worked in Family Law ever since.

Matthew is an avid reader, devout Padres fan, and enjoys cooking, playing card and roleplaying games, and attending concerts in his spare time.
